Earth Sciences Minor

Course Requirements

Students can earn a minor in Earth sciences by taking the following courses:

Lower-Division Courses

Choose one of the following options:

Either these courses
EART5	California Geology	5
EART5L	California Geology Laboratory	1
or these courses
EART10	Geologic Principles	5
EART10L	Geologic Principles Laboratory	1
or these courses
EART20	Environmental Geology	5
EART20L	Environmental Geology Laboratory	1

Upper-Division Courses

Five upper-division Earth or ocean sciences courses.

Courses offering fewer than 5 credits (such as EART 190 or 2-credit laboratories and independent studies) may not be counted toward the minor requirements, although additional coursework is always encouraged.
