LIT116B Encountering Antiquity
Introduces selected modes and forms of poetry with emphasis on close textual analysis. Considers uses of Greek and Roman antiquity in English/Anglo-American poetic practice from early to post-modernity by historicizing the reproduction of antiquity through poetic forms.
