PSYC 236 Paradigms of Culture

Integrative seminar on the relationship between individual psychological experience and its social, cultural, and institutional context. Explores various paradigms of culture in social science literature, including psychoanalytic theory, culture and personality, cultural psychology, Marxism, symbolic interactionism, poststructuralism, postcolonial theory, narrative, and Vygotsky's sociocultural theory.
