ECE 238 Medical Image Formation, Presentation, and Assessment

This course covers how modern medical images are generated from raw data, and how they are presented to radiologists and doctors. It also explains key image quality metrics, their evaluation, and how they inform system design.

Requirements

Enrollment is restricted to graduate students. Undergraduates may enroll with permission of the instructor. This course requires basic knowledge of math and physics such as calculus, linear algebra, and statistics. ECE 80B is helpful for undergraduates, but is not required.
