Humanities EXCEL Internship Program
Students with a major or minor in the Humanities Division are eligible for paid Humanities EXCEL internships, which are developed with the host organization. This cohort program helps you develop career-ready and transferable skills for professional and community-focused work. It highlights the importance of a humanities degree in various career paths. The Humanities EXCEL program runs during the academic year, and Summer Humanities EXCEL runs during Summer Session in regional locations where a majority of humanities students are from. Applications open in May for positions that run throughout the entire academic year, as well as the 10-week summer offering (which provides 10 tuition-free credits and is tied to HIS 198S). Applications open in October for positions that run January–June.
