ESCI 100B Introduction to Environmental Processes

Quantitative exploration of physical and chemical processes relevant to the environment and their applications to complex environmental systems. Focuses on calculus-based tools. Key concepts include fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mass transfer, particle mechanics, turbulence, and physicochemical processes.

Requirements

Prerequisite(s): ESCI 100A, and MATH 11B or MATH 19B, and CHEM 1C, and PHYS 6B or PHYS 5B. Enrollment is restricted to environmental sciences and Earth sciences majors.
