ANTH 195A Biological Anthropology Senior Thesis Series: Research Design
Introduces students to the principles and methods by which research projects in biological anthropology and data-based archaeology are devised and executed. Students design their senior thesis research projects, write research proposals, recapitulate laboratory methods, and engage in the discussion of quantitative and mixed-methods research in anthropology. Students must have already discussed research opportunities for their thesis with principle investigators who have agreed to sponsor a potential research project. Enrollment is restricted to senior anthropology majors and by permission of the instructor. Students cannot receive credit for this course and ANTH 295A. (Formerly Senior Thesis Seminar.)
