LIT 166J Women Modernists

Readings of innovative fiction, poetry, and essays by women writers from 1900-1950. We will discuss issues of gender and sexuality as they affect literary theme and form, female literary collaboration and lesbian salons, and the critical framing of women's writings by feminism and modernism.
